Description
Harvesting Sekel bush takes place on the savannas of Namibia. Here, overgrowth by this invasive (non-original) bush species has become a major problem. The originally grass savannas dry up and grow dense, leaving no room for wildlife to graze. Through deforestation, the savanna regains its original function in Namibia's ecosystem. The animals regain the space they need and the local population benefits from the work by harvesting. We work directly with the farmers in Namibia working on these projects.
